Meet the Team
Mara Dahlgren
Mara and I clicked on day one when we realized our mutual love for the TV show One Tree Hill. Mara is amazing at her job and is an exceptional role model and mentor. With each task, she gave me the freedom to pursue it how I thought best, making her trust and belief in me- as well as my work evident.
Yasmine Raouf
Yasmine was my first friend at my internship and showed me the ropes around the office, helping me feel comfortable in my new job. As the Director of Lectures for Union Board, I worked closely with her on many events, including The Evolution of Revolution and Real Honest: An Afternoon with Octavia Spencer.
Kaila Messerli
Kaila was my direct supervisor and was always there for me when I needed support. We met every week and she was always encouraging and motivating. I worked with Kaila closely on the IU Day carnival.
Alexis Burr
Alexis is a bright light who always made my days better, no matter what. As Yasmine's Assistant Director for the lectures committee I worked with Alexis closely on The Evolution of Revolution and Real Honest Events.
Jennifer Parks
Jennifer has worked in the Activities and Events Department for decades and it would be an understatement to say I learned a lot from her. I worked with Jennifer very closely on the Senior Recognition Awards and she is one of my favorite people. (I swear she likes me more than she seems to in this picture.)
